CHICAGO
(Oct. 8, 2008) – As part of the U.S. Soccer’s
Coaching Department dedication to providing unique
coaching opportunities to its members, CoachesNet is
offering
an educational trip from March 10-16, 2009, to Buenos
Aires, Argentina. For six
days and five nights, participating coaches will have
the opportunity to interact with members of
professional coaching staffs from Argentine clubs and
youth national teams, attend two first division
games, analyze professional training sessions and
visit some of the most well-known stadiums and
landmarks in the city. Registration also includes
round-trip airfare from Miami International Airport,
meals and four-star accommodations. “The U.S.
National Team coaching staff travel the world for
games, but this is the first chance for coaches to
travel with U.S. Soccer to experience and learn about
other soccer cultures, traits and ideas,” said U.S.
Soccer National Staff Coach Juan Carlos Michia. “This
is a unique opportunity for all coaches.”
“This is a chance for all coaches and specifically our “A” license coaches to continue their education and interact with coaches and clubs they typically would not have access to,” said Michia. Available through ussoccer.com, CoachesNet is devoted to educating its members on U.S. National Team coaching tactics by breaking down games at the highest level, analyzing training sessions and tactics and delving into the keys to preparation. Sign-up now at CoachesNet.ussoccer.com. Visit www.state.gov for more details on traveling to Argentina. A valid passport is required for U.S. citizens to enter Argentina. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for visits of up to 90 days for tourism and business.
