The role of the coach as a facilitator is explored; the physical, mental and emotional needs and capabilities of players from 4-12 are explored; the lessons from developmental psychology are explored; and the art of teaching is explored. Candidates are videotaped for analysis during live training sessions.

Registration will open Tuesday, Oct. 6, after a pre-registration period for active members of CoachesNet, U.S. Soccer’s official coaches club. Current CoachesNet members will have the first opportunity to register beginning today.

The small preparatory school near the border of New Hampshire will conduct “A”, “B”, and “C” license courses. The newest addition will complete the courses offered in an already busy June.

USSF Coaching Symposium Offered - December 6-8
CHICAGO (November 15, 2007) – U.S. Soccer will host the seventh edition of the Nike Friendlies Coaching Symposium in conjunction with the 2007 Men’s Nike Friendlies taking place at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., from Dec. 6-9. The symposium includes nightly presentations on Dec. 6-7, as well as a match analysis of a U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team match on Dec. 8 at IMG Academy.
